The book that revealed the making of Frank's film "C’est Vrai! One Hour" to be more controlled than the film appears. The film appears to be an improvised documentation of a walk through a few blocks in Manhattan in real time. However, it had a script and 27 actors. For example, Frank notes that a conversation heard in a diner is written by Mika Moses, but that Peter Orlovsky's lines, intercepted by Frank are 'total improvisation.'
